This workshop seeks to bring into focus the current status of the U.S. emission reduction pledge of 17 % below 2005 levels. The workshop will discuss the level of U.S. emission reduction efforts under its existing laws and status of such activities as a result of the recent U.S. Congressional elec-
tions.
